Robot Busters
Devlog Video:
Robot Busters is a simplistic top down shooter rogue-lite made using Scratch (more specifically the extension Turbowarp) for the Itching-to-Scratch game jam hosted by the Creator's Campfire Discord server. I am also currently working on a YouTube video about how I made the game on my channel Sterling Gamer: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4bIasPbGc0WAjCOCPiTgMw
CONTROLLS:
WASD to move around the map, aim with your mouse pointer, left click to fire your gun, space to slide/dodgeroll (toward your mouse), and E to slow down time.
WARNING!!!!!!
There is a massive game breaking bug in the game. I tried for a few hours to fix it to no avail. Sometimes when loading a level, you will lose the ability to shoot and only a single "ranger" enemy will spawn. To fix this problem, reload the project with the green flag at the top and select "story mode". This will put you back at the point you were before with all of your upgrades.

Really fun and challenging!
The 'roll' feature could use a bit of work, it seems to sporadically choose a direction, unless I'm missing something
It goes in whatever direction your mouse is. It was intended to give you twin stick controls with a mouse and keyboard, allowing you to snap from running in one direction and rolling in another on the fly.
OHHH okay that works a lot better actually! I thought the movement corresponding to the WASD keys, but that method makes more sense and probably works better. Might be good to include that tidbit when describing the controls.
Great game btw!
I will play the game of anyone who uses the expression "to no avail". It seems cool, but the robots are so much faster! Aargh! My playing is to no avail!
